Happy New Year: 2017 A New Direction

The new year is only a handful of days away and I can't help but look back and evaluate the joys and sorrows of the year. I have worked very hard this year to find a balance between work and home. I know I am not alone in this endeavor. It's especially hard when you really love what you do, which I do. There is nothing I would rather be doing than writing.

One of the most fun things I did this year was co-write a series with my good friend Melissa Storm. We both can get a little giddy talking over plot and writing funny notes on each other's chapters. And readers are loving our series! I can't wait to write the third book, Remember the Stilettos. I have a very rough detail mapped out and will finish that part of the process up in the end of January.

Another big accomplishment for me was publishing my Syndicate-Born Trilogy with Evolved Publishing. I love this series. The third book, True Blue Son, is finally written and is in the third stage of edits. While I am excited about my new projects, it was sad to say goodbye to these characters. Though...there MAY be a prequel coming out this year. The big new is that Red on the Run was awarded the Pinnacle and will be having the audio edition out in two months.

I have a brand new series that I will be introducing this year. This new one will be a retro romantic Thriller series that will take place in 1978-1980. I can't wait to share these new characters with my readers. Join my mailing list if you want to know more about this series or would like to get a FREE ARC copy of this or any other book.

Another fun project I am involved with is a romance box set, which will be out in a month. My novella for this set is a wedding set on September 11, 2001 and takes place in Austin, Texas. It's been an interesting book to write. We are currently offering a deal that if you pre-order the boxset, you'll get 21 FREE books.

Which books are you looking forward to reading in the new year?
